Here is yet another actress who is really working over her next project. Sonam Kapoor has got into the skin of the character. So much that she is having problems in sleeping. She desperately wants to come out of the problem and sleep peacefully.
She revealed, “Maybe it’s just Jane Austen’s novels. In ‘Ayesha’, my role is based on Jane Austen’s Emma. I’ve been reading her novels ever since... and can’t stop thinking about them. Maybe that’s why I’m losing sleep…”
The Delhi-6 lass is playing the main role in the Hindi adaptation of Jane Austen’s popular novel ‘Emma’, opposite the dimpled hero, Abhay Deol. The movie will be directed by Rajshree Ojha and will be produced by none other than Sonam’s dad and actor, Anil Kapoor.
Sonam, better take it easy, yaar! Else you will turn into Emma Kapoor!
Saif Ali Khan is really excited for his next action movie, ‘Agent Vinod’. No, not because his girlfriend, Karena, is acting with him. And, not because it is his second production venture. But because the subject of the movie is really appealing to him.
It seems the movie reminds him of his boyhood days when he used to enjoy watching classic action movies. He said, “With ‘Agent Vinod’, I got a sense of cinema which I’ve grown up with. To me there is something outstanding about that title, because it is almost ... almost a little tacky today. But, if it’s made in a particular way and is written in a particular way, it could be the coolest thing ever. It has a bit of a retro element. Just to give you an example: take the title ‘Mission: Impossible’. It is tacky. It’s cheesy. But when Brian de Palma directs it and Tom Cruise acts in it, and you see the poster, then you say Mission Impossible is a pulp title. So ‘Agent Vinod’ has also got a pulp element to it.” So does that mean that we can expect the movie to be a Hollywood styled detective flick played by a slick character? Saif revealed, “He’s not camp and no one is drinking vodka martinis or sleeping with lots of girls or wearing a tux. There are some machine guns, fast driving, glass breaking on people’s head, lots of stuff blowing up. And I love that.” The actor further added that the movie will take one back to seventies and it has infused the essence of Vinod Khanna and Mithun Chakraborty which was inculcated in those days.
Hope this movie goes on to become a trend setter, as the actor projects it.He melted people’s hearts in his first movie, ‘Taare Zamin Par’. With the movie, Dyslexia too got enough credits. People were made aware of the disorder faced by the kids that is usually ignored. Now, child actor Darsheel will bring another child problem into limelight.
Titled ‘Padduram’, Darsheel will act as a boy who is troubled with gastric problem and how he feels when he unintentionally farts in public. As the title denotes, the movie is expected to generate lot of laughter and…thinking as well.
Popular comedian Suresh Menon will play Darsheel’s father in the movie while serial actress Juhi Parmar will be the mother. Suresh Menon said, “Child is the protagonist of the film and as parents we are part of his life. We try to help him cope with this ‘paddu’ problem. I am playing a very protective father just like in real life.” On the other hand the actress commented that this movie will convey a message across to the audience that such problems have to be dealt with immense sensitivity especially when it’s concerning a child. She further added, “It’s a feel-good film; you will experience extreme emotions while watching the film. At times you will be rolling around laughing and then, the very next moment you feel your eyes well up with tears.”
Now, this is something which will be really interesting for the kiddies, where the storyline looks quite funny, yet something sensible and serious to consider.
